Biomolecular Modeler
Position Overview
Ailomics Therapeutics is seeking a talented Biomolecular Modeler to join our computational team to model protein-protein interactions, design antigens and antibodies. You will construct protein-protein complex structure models to understand biological signaling at the molecular level. You will design antigens for antibody identification as well as design mutagenesis libraries for antibody optimization. You have a track record of building protein homology models and predicting protein-protein complex structures. You have a passion in biology understanding and data-driven drug R&D, along with strong independent thinking, learning and innovating capabilities, communication skills and collaboration spirit.
Responsibilities
Construct protein-protein complex structure models to understand biological signaling at the molecular level.
Design antigens to enable identification of antibodies with target and epitope specificities.
Design mutagenesis libraries to optimize antibody bioactivities and properties.
Implement in silico tools in antibody discovery campaigns to ensure rapid and early selection of antibodies with optimal developability.
Collaborate with Computational Biologists, Immunologists and Antibody Engineers to achieve the above goals.
Have the opportunity to lead technology/platform development.
Have the opportunity to lead drug projects.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Biomolecular Modeling or a relevant field.
A track record of expertise in Biomolecular Modeling, evidenced through scientific publications and, if available, impacts on target validation and antibody discovery in the pharmaceutical industry.
Demonstrated capabilities of building protein homology models and predicting protein-protein complex structures; experience in utilizing AI methods is highly desirable.
Experience of antigen and antibody design is a big plus.
Solid foundation in molecular dynamics simulations.
Understanding of AI/deep learning techniques is a plus.
Passion for biology understanding and data-driven drug R&D.
Strong capabilities of independent thinking, learning and innovating.
A team player with good communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
